Building a Soda Trailer

We started with a small trailer that had a stainless steel table (on the left in the picture) and a three compartment sink (seen at the back), but no water tanks, water heater, water pump, generator, refrigerator (we added the fridge on the right in the picture), shelving, logos, etc. We were looking at a LOT of work and not sure exactly where to start! Enter, Juliano!

Juliano Pereira is our dear son-in-law (married our daughter, Jessica, in 2020) and he is quite the handyman! He was able to figure out the plumbing for the water tanks. He installed the water heater, water pump, the hand washing sink, shelves and basically anything else that we need to make this trailer operational. Juliano is a genius at solving problems and now he’s an expert at solving problems in very small spaces! We are so grateful for him.

After figuring out the electrical issues and installing the outside shelf and putting up the logos on the outside of the trailer, we heard from our inspector that we actually don’t need a three compartment sink, so Juliano got busy uninstalling all his hard work on the plumbing. We were actually really grateful for this development because it made space for much needed cookie and kettle chips storage!

(Tiago bidding farewell to our three compartment sink!)

Getting this trailer from nearly empty to the fine tuned machine it is today has been a family collaboration and we are immensely grateful for the brain power and talents that each member of our family has brought to this project. Even little Tiago lends a helping hand (see video below).
